Monday Underground

Monday Underground is a friendly running and walking group based in Northcote Point on Auckland's North Shore. We organize a free, friendly 5km winter run series - no timings, no spot prizes - which meets at the Northcote Tavern every Monday during winter time (6.40pm walkers, 7.00pm runners). 

We are also proud to be the current organizers/custodians of the long-running summer fun run and walk which has operated from Northcote Tavern since 1999. This is a slightly more challenging 5km run and walk which takes place from the same venue every Monday during daylight savings hours (6.10pm walkers, 6.20pm fast walkers/joggers and 6.30pm runners). Sign in and pay your nominal entry fee at the garden bar from 6pm to be in the draw for our sought-after post-race spot prizes.
